Founder/CEO Joëlle Bourjolly

Joëlle Bourjolly is an award-winning writer-producer, whose credits include HAPPY FACE, awarded Best Feature at: the Boston Underground Film Festival, Bushwick Film Festival, FearNYC Film Festival, and Hell’s Half Mile Film & Music Festival. She also co-wrote the award-winning short film TERMINAL VENUS.

 

As a producer, her short film SOOTHER won the 2001 Grand Prix for Best Children’s Film at the Uppsala International Short Film Festival. Joëlle’s short script for THE LEGEND OF BRIDESHEAD MANSION was awarded a Drama Prize by the National Screen Institute of Canada.

Her TV credits include: story editor on the award-winning Hallmark Entertainment family drama THE NEVERENDING STORY and STANLEY’S PALACE, an original one-hour drama series she created and developed for CTV.

Joëlle was granted a New York Foundation for the Arts Urban Artist Initiative Fellowship and was an honoree at the Independent Feature Project’s NY Project Involve, where she workshopped HAPPY FACE.

She is currently developing the historical drama series CINNAMON, which was selected for the Narrative Series strand at Gotham Week and the SeriesMania Digital Forum.
